Shelly Kwong was born in Queens, New York. She is born to parents fromVietnam and Hong Kong, which made her value her family and culture more. She surrounded herself with art throughout her adolesence and attended Frank Sinatra School of the Arts. Growing up plus size was her main motive that got her interested in fashion design. Shelly now creates for plus size women and intends to make them feel included.
