Qing Yi Lu

Qing Yi Lu (Michelle) was born in China, and grew up in Vancouver, Canada. She comes from a family that works closely with fashion. Commenting about fashion and discussing new trends and design ideas is an everyday occurrence in her family. 

Michelle used to be a perfectionist, she thinks everything can be perfect, the things catch her attention might be “perfect” to her, and she “chased” to get them, trying to work towards getting them perfect. Slowly, she realized perfection does not exist, its only a mind set, an imagination. As a designer, she loves to create and design garments that are distressed and asymetrical, which aligns with the idea of “imperfect”.
